Little is known about Teresa's early life, however, she was referred to as a "problem child during her training. As a Claymore, Teresa is a cold-blooded killer who cares for no one, only helping when ordered to, and taking pleasure in scaring humans. She is generally solitary, rarely contacting other Claymores. She also keeps secrets from her handlers and distrusts the Organization.
During an assignment to kill seven yoma hiding in a village, Teresa saves a young girl who had been kept prisoner by the yoma. At first, she is irritated by this newfound company, but eventually grows fond of her. Teresa names the girl Clare--and finds that Clare has caused Teresa's own lost compassion to re-manifest.
"This young girl, whose small body is only half the size of mine, taught me that, tears can, flow, too..... from these silver eyes" - teresa to clare
From here on, Teresa openly shows affection for Clare, without reservation, but eventually decides to leave Clare in a village, still believing that a normal life with humans would be better for her. This village is soon raided by bandits, and Teresa returns to save her. She finds Clare, beaten and bloody and flies into an unstoppable rage at the bandits, killing every one of them...and breaking a cardinal rule among Claymores--one should never kill humans, regardless of the circumstances.
As a result, the Organization marks her for death. It dispatches fives Claymores of unknown rank to execute her. Teresa cuts them all down, but does not kill them, stating that Clare has given her reason to live.
The Organization deploys Priscilla, Irene, Noel and Sophia (ranks 2 through 5, respectively) in another attempt, however Teresa defeats them all without releasing any yoma power. She spares the lives of Irene, Noel and Sophia, but considers killing Priscilla, sensing that she would surpass her in combat. Ultimately, she decides to spare Priscilla as well. Teresa and Clare then leave town, leaving behind her former comrades. Priscilla attacks in a blind rage, accidentally releasing too much yoma power and nearly Awakening. Teresa defeats Priscilla again, releasing only 10% of her own power.
Priscilla begs Teresa to kill her out of mercy before she does Awaken, but as soon as Teresa drops her guard, Priscilla picks up her sword, attacks and decapitates Teresa. Clare takes Teresa's severed head, carrying it until she finds a member of the Organization. She begs the member to fuse her with Teresa's remains, and become a Claymore, her intention being revenge against Priscilla.
Current status: Killed by Priscilla
